Celia Henderson

Celia is an IT Trainer and Flower Photographer. Visit her IT and Training page for a list of courses including Photoshop and Lightroom.

I use my photographs of flower images to create contemporary wall art on print, canvas, metal and acrylic. I also submit to stock libraries and am a successful seller of not just flower and abstract images, but general and current event photography.

For many years I have exhibited in the Arundel Gallery Trail - see exhibitions page for more details. Watch the video from the last exhibition.

I offer talks and workshops on The Art of Flower Photography on photography skills, Photoshop and Lightroom. My next talk and workshop will be for the RPS on 5th April 2020

I'm delighted to launch a series of new photography and Photoshop workshops this year - do have a look at the workshop details and let me know if you would like to know more or if you would like me to arrange a bespoke session for you, a small group or your camera club.

I also print my images to silk, cotton and voile fabric for interior design projects and have a range of deckchair canvas slings. My work has the objective of capturing the beauty, shape and intricate detail of organic and botanical subjects seen through the photographer's macro lens.

Sony Advocate PhotographerCelia Henderson LRPS

Between 2009 and 2013 I was a Sony’s Advocate photographer and in my role as a Sony Advocate have run workshops and given lectures on macro and flower photography at the 2012 Sony World Photography Awards in Somerset House, London, Edinburgh University Photographic Society and “Focus on Imaging” show at the NEC Birmingham and at RHS Wisley.

Between 2009 - 2013 I was the organiser of the Arundel Gallery Trail, one of the original Open Houses Art Trails representing over 100 artists in 60 Arundel venues.

I have a range of 16 limited editions, distributed by Buckingham Fine Arts. My work continues to be commissioned by interior designers to provide images for use in domestic residences and show home developments.  My work has appeared in TV Channel 5 room make-over programmes and was featured at the NEC Grand Design Show.  I exhibit regularly in East and West Sussex galleries and venues, including the London Affordable Art Show and my work is purchased by private collectors.

I live in Arundel with my husband and two daughters. The day job is an IT Trainer and Lecturer in Computing.

If you fancy something on your wall to match the curtains, I would be happy to take on a commission – no fee (unless you decide you like it).
